Fit confidence

Virtual fit check before you buy

A virtual fit check is a quick pre-checkout preview: see how a size sits on your shoulders, waist, hips, and length — then decide without guessing from a size chart alone.

Size charts are useful, but they do not show how a specific cut looks on you. A virtual fit check uses generative-AI try-on to place the garment on your body so you can judge proportion and silhouette visually.

How to run a fit check

  1. 1
Open try-on on the product or demo

Pick the garment and the size you would normally order.

  2. 2
    Add your photo or measurements

Front-facing photo in good light, or height and size if the flow supports it.

  3. 3
    Read length and proportion

Look at sleeve/hem length, how it sits across shoulders or hips, and whether the silhouette matches what you want. See Does it fit me?.

  4. 4
    Compare a second size

If you are between sizes, generate both and pick the better balance of ease and shape.

Pair the visual check with measuring tips from how to measure yourself when brands publish body-measurement charts.

Frequently asked questions

Is a virtual fit check the same as AR overlay?

No. Generative-AI try-on renders a photorealistic image of you wearing the garment. Classic AR overlays place a 3D or 2D asset in camera space — useful for shoes/objects, different from apparel genAI previews.

What should I look for in the preview?

Length, shoulder and hip proportion, how the fabric appears to drape, and whether the color and silhouette suit you — not just whether the label says your usual size.

Can I check a full outfit?

Yes. Combine a top and bottom (or add shoes) so you can see how proportions balance across the whole look.
